The article, entitled “Media Selection for MicroBlasting Medical Parts” provides guidance on abrasive media selection in medical manufacturing. It looks at each type of media used and their respective results. The size, shape, and hardness of the abrasive and the target’s material all determine if a particular media will smooth out imperfections, texture a surface, remove material or cut through it.
